  Most items are about the same as the average BBQ place, but the BBQ Egg rolls make this a weekly dining spot for me. They are incredible! And the employees are super friendly!

  This is a casual dining experience in a quaint, rustic atmosphere, with superb, flavorful food, and an efficient, friendly wait staff.
  The ribs here were outstanding, as were their "infamous" barbecue egg rolls. The ribs were so tender that the meat literally melts in your mouth. The rub used was flavorful with just a hint of spiciness. Certainly not enough to scare off those who don't care for spicy foods. The egg rolls came with a wonderfully savory and spicy remoulade sauce. This is not a typical barbecue sauce, rather a thicker, creamier sauce with a hint of hot sauce, herbs and seasoning. It complements the barbecue egg rolls perfectly. Their squash casserole was scrumptious, and they know how to cook the collard greens!
  The only disappointment, in my estimation, was the fact they served run-of-the-mill fries. They were not seasoned; they were soft and bland. With everything else being so superbly prepared it was surprising that the fries were so unimaginative. Perhaps this is done to appeal to a more youthful palate. This was a very minor part of my experience, and is certainly nowhere near enough to stop me from visiting Evan's Barbecue Co. again and again. In fact, I can't wait to try the rest of their fare. My mouth is watering in anticipation.
  I highly recommend Evan's Barbecue Co. to anyone who likes to eat well prepared food in a really down-to-earth atmosphere.
